Guest photo wall
QR code wedding photos, in one album and live on the big screen
With Sparkle, guests scan the QR code on your invitation, join your wedding in the Sparkle wedding app (or their browser, as a fallback), and share photos from their phones at full size. You approve each one first, or let them straight in. Approved photos fill a shared album and can play live on a screen at the venue.
- Photo album · £49 add-on

How it works
How photo sharing works in Sparkle
Put one QR code on your invitations
Your dashboard makes a link and a QR code for your wedding, and printable cards in your colours: one for your invitations, and “share your photos” cards for the tables.
Guests join and share
Guests scan it, sign in with their email address, no password needed, and share photos from their phone in the Sparkle wedding app or in their browser, each with a caption if they like.
You approve them, or let them in
Each photo waits until you, a co-host or a helper you trust approves it. Or switch approval off and photos go straight into the album.
The wall plays them live
Open the wall’s link on the venue’s screen or projector. Approved photos join its slideshow within a minute, and a QR code in its corner lets guests scan to add their own.
Keep every one
After the day, download every photo at full size from your dashboard. Guests can save the photos they can see from the app, and with the £99 bundle it reminds them the morning after.
Honest limits
Good to know before you choose
What it does and what it doesn’t, so there are no surprises on the day.
Photos, not videos
Guests can share photos (JPEG, PNG and WebP), not videos. The app turns an iPhone’s HEIC photos into JPEGs as they’re shared.
Sharing needs signal or Wi-Fi
Photos upload as they’re shared, so guests need signal or Wi-Fi at that moment. Where the venue’s signal is poor, put its Wi-Fi details beside your QR code.
Someone watches the queue
With approval on, nothing reaches the album or the wall until someone approves it. Name a helper for the photos, or switch approval off for the day.
Bring your own screen
Sparkle doesn’t supply the screen. Any TV, projector or laptop that can open a web page and reach the internet will do.
The wall’s QR code joins your wedding
Anyone who can see the screen can scan it and join as a guest, as with the link on your invitations. Switch it off if the screen can be seen from outside the party.
A saved copy stays saved
Hiding or deleting a photo takes it out of the album and off the wall, but can’t take back a copy a guest has already saved to their phone.
Each guest signs in once
To share, a guest signs in with their email address and an eight-digit code, so they need an email address they can open on their phone.
Questions
What couples ask
How do guests share photos at a wedding with a QR code?
They scan the QR code on your invitation or on a sign at the venue and join your wedding. Then, in the Sparkle wedding app or in their browser, they choose photos from their phone, add a caption if they like, and send them to you.
Do guests need to download an app to share photos?
Not for a quick share: scanning your QR code lets a guest share photos from their browser. For the full wedding, yes: the Sparkle wedding app adds updates on the day, keeps your day’s details to hand with no signal, and saves the photos to their phone afterwards.
Can we check photos before everyone sees them?
Yes. With approval on, every photo waits for you, a co-host or a photo helper. Switch approval off to let them straight in, and hide or delete any photo at any time.
Can we have the photo wall without the album?
Yes. With the wall alone, guests’ photos join the slideshow at the venue once approved, or once shared with approval off, and there’s no album to browse in the app.
Who can see our photos?
Guests who have joined your wedding. You choose whether they see the whole album or just a line saying someone shared a photo, and you can hide any single photo. The wall’s own link shows approved photos to anyone who has it, without signing in, and you can change the link or switch it off at any time.
Can guests see where a photo was taken?
No. Sparkle takes the location, and the names and serial numbers a camera writes into the file, out of every photo before it leaves a guest’s phone or browser.
Can we download all the photos after the wedding?
Yes. Download every photo at full size, in one go, from your dashboard. Guests can save the photos they can see from the app.
How much does it cost?
The photo album is a £49 add-on and the live photo wall a £39 add-on, each paid once per wedding, on the web. Your guest app itself is free to start.
