RSVP and meal choices
Wedding RSVPs with meal choices and dietary requirements
With Sparkle, guests reply from the link on your invitation, in the Sparkle wedding app (or their browser, as a fallback). They answer for their whole party, choose a wedding breakfast for each person, add children with their ages and note any dietary requirements. Your dashboard adds up the meal choices and dietary needs, ready for your caterer.

How it works
How replies with meal choices work
Write your questions
Add the questions your day needs, such as the starter and the main, each with its choices. Make any of them required, ask them of each person in the party, or keep one for the children.
Give each household its link
Paste your invitation list from a spreadsheet. Each household gets its own link and QR code for the invitation, and its reply can’t be for more than the places you give it.
Guests reply for their party
Guests say whether they’re coming, name who’s with them, mark any children with their age on the day, and answer for each person.
Dietary needs, always answered
With the £99 bundle, every guest who’s coming answers “Any dietary needs?”: None, or allergies and anything the kitchen should know. A blank never leaves you wondering.
Replies by post count too
A reply that came by post, by phone or in person? Record it on your guest list and it counts with the rest. If they join later, it’s waiting as their own reply to change.
Evening guests skip the breakfast
Tick the questions that are about the wedding breakfast, and guests who join by your evening link aren’t asked them.
Counts for your caterer
Your dashboard adds up every meal choice and dietary need, splits adults and children, and your guest list downloads as a file for Excel or Google Sheets whenever you need it.
Honest limits
Good to know before you choose
What it does and what it doesn’t, so there are no surprises on the day.
One dietary note per reply
The dietary note covers the whole party rather than each person, so guests write whose need is whose.
Sending needs signal
A reply is sent there and then. With no signal, a guest’s answers stay on screen until they can send them.
A reply-by date, never a cut-off
Set a reply-by date and guests see it until they reply; a late reply still counts. With the £99 bundle, guests in the app who haven’t replied get one reminder a week before. Copy the links of everyone else awaiting to chase them yourself.
You set the party size
You choose the largest party one reply can bring, or the places on each invitation, and guests can’t add more.
One sign-in per party
The guest who replies signs in with their email address and an eight-digit code. The rest of their party don’t need to.
Meal choices are in the bundle
Free replies are a yes or no with a headcount, how many are children and a note. Meal choices, names and dietary needs come with the £99 bundle.
Questions
What couples ask
Can we set a reply-by date?
Yes, if you like: add one in Wedding details, on or before your wedding date. Guests see “Please reply by…” until they reply, and a late reply still saves. With the £99 bundle, guests in the app who haven’t replied get one reminder a week before, and from the date your dashboard shows who is still to reply.
How do we collect meal choices for our wedding?
Add a question for each course with its choices, and ask it of each person. Every guest then chooses for themselves and for each person in their party when they reply, and your dashboard counts the choices for your caterer.
Can guests reply without downloading an app?
A guest who can’t install the app can still reply from the link on your invitation, in their browser, with the same questions. But the browser is a limited fallback: the Sparkle wedding app is the full wedding, with updates on the day, your day’s details to hand with no signal, and the photos afterwards.
Can guests reply by post?
Yes. Record a reply that came by post, by phone or in person on your guest list, and your counts include it. If the guest joins later, it opens as their own reply for them to change.
Can we have a children’s menu?
Yes. Ask a question of children only, such as their meal, and only the children in each party are asked it. Or make your day adults only, and replies can’t include children.
What about our evening guests?
Share your evening link with them. They reply for their party and note dietary needs, but aren’t asked about the wedding breakfast, and your counts show day and evening guests apart.
Can guests change their reply?
Yes. Guests can open their reply and update it, and your counts follow.
How much does it cost?
Replies with headcounts are free. Meal choices, your own questions, plus-one names and dietary requirements come with the £99 premium bundle, along with the dashboard’s counts.

The rest of the day, in the same app
QR code wedding photos, in one album and live on the big screen
Guests scan your invitation’s QR code and share photos at full size. Approve them, show them live on a screen at the venue, and keep every one.
An audio guestbook on your guests’ own phones
Guests leave a line and a voice note of up to three minutes from their own phones. No handset to hire or post back, and you download the whole book to keep.
