What’s the minimum age to use Sparkle?
Guests must be 13 or over. To create a wedding, be a host or planner, or pay, you must be 18 or over. Nobody asks your date of birth.

Step by step
Sign in from your invitation. The step that asks you to agree to Sparkle’s Terms says “By continuing you confirm you’re 13 or over and agree to Sparkle’s Terms and Privacy Notice.”
Creating a wedding and paying each ask you to tick “I’m 18 or over”.
Joining with a co-host or handover link asks the same, and so does being made a co-host from the guest list, once, before you start. In the app, its button reads “I’m 18 or over — join as a host”.
Making someone else a wedding’s owner asks you to confirm they’re 18 or over.
Good to know
It’s your word: nobody asks for proof or a date of birth.
Under 18? Check with a parent or carer before you join.
Children under 13 don’t have accounts. Whoever replies adds them to their party, with their age on the day if they like.
Guests aged 13 to 17 get the same private settings as everyone: nothing is public, and your location is shared only when you tap to share it.
